I’m sure you’ve noticed it – the trend that virtual reality dating is becoming more and more popular! I don’t blame you if you haven’t heard of any of this yet, but I can tell you that it’s all happening right now, and it isn’t going to stop. In fact, VR dating may just turn out to be the most important way we connect with each other in the coming decades!
It lets us connect with friends and family around the world, even if they’re on different continents. It allows us to chat, play games together, or explore exotic new worlds together. But it can be difficult for people who are looking for a good social VR app when there are so many out there that do similar things—and each one is unique. Unfortunately, finding friends can feel like trying to find needles in a haystack.
If you’re a VR enthusiast, chances are you want to find someone who shares your interests. Because even though virtual reality is one of those things that quickly becomes more fun when shared with others, it can be challenging finding someone special, right? Finding other people who share your passion for something—in real life or online—can be difficult. That’s why we are building our prototype under the Codename Alexis.
A new way for users to find, meet, and connect with others who are into virtual reality. Unlike chat rooms or forums where it’s easy to fake your identity online, VR dating sites allow users to go outside of virtual worlds such as Second Life or World of Warcraft .
It’s a safe space where strangers can talk about their shared interests without fear of being scammed.
It’s simple. If you see someone you like, just hit a button on your interface that says HIT ON (or something more PC like HIT!).
Signing up as a member is quick, easy, and free! Once you have created an account, you can meet people from around the world that are interested in connecting via VR. You’ll receive notifications when other members that share your interests are online.
Dating Leverages VR to Improve Relationships from the Start
To connect with other people on Project Alexis, you’ll need to create a user profile. To do so, subscribe to our newsletter to be notify when we go live. Moreover you will be also be able to log into your existing Facebook account in Project Alexis via your Facebook Messenger, Steam or Oculus account. You can also use email sign-up if you prefer not to use Facebook.
Just like dating apps for our physical reality, we need tools that allow us to find each other inside of virtual worlds. And one of these tools will be a search tool which allows you to find other members based on gender, location, age range etc. For example if you type in Male – 25 it’ll give you all others who also searched themselves as male and are within 25 years of your age!
There’s no sense waiting any longer. Head over to our newsletter, sign up to be one of the first beta testers and get notify when we go live. The first time you meet someone face-to-face is always memorable—and a little nerve-wracking, too. Don’t worry though; your potential match is probably feeling just as anxious! So why not start things off on a light note?
